COMPLETE STEP
Oreo cheesecake:
-
Seperate oreo in to 2 sections, one section of Oreo to be crushed that would be used for the base and topping, and one section of Oreo that would be mixed into the cream. (2 packs of Oreo usually contain 28 pieces of Oreo, so around 20 pieces would be used for the crushed Oreo section, and the rest would be used to be mixed onto the cream)
-
To crush Oreo, firstly, separate the Oreo filling from the cookie. Save the filling because it will be used later. Place all the cookie in to a food processor and pulse until the cookie has turned into fine crumbs. Save 1/4 of the Oreo crumbs for the topping later.
-
Melt 25g of butter and toss it with the remaining crumbs. Then, press the crumbs into the bottom of your cake mold for the cake base and store it in the fridge while we are setting other things up.
-
In a new bowl, put cream cheese and one teaspoon of vanilla essence
